How to Use GodMode in Windows 7

What's god mode in Windows 7?

So-called GodMode is actually a hidden (by default) shortcut in Windows 7,Vista, etc that let users get more direct access to all the Windows operating system features and functions (over 270). To be clear, Windows 7 GodMode doesn't increase functionality. However, it helps Windows administrator users work more efficiently than before by including all these tweaks and controls in one folder.

How to Use Windows 7 GodMode?

Note: This trick applies to Windows vista also.

1. Right click any empty window area and choose New and then Folders.

2. Name the folder after "GodMode.{ED7BA470-8E54-465E-825C-99712043E01C}"

3. Then the folder should become a control panel like icon and own a name of "godmode." Open the godmode folder, there are 274 items included, which make it easier to manage/control your computer.

Due to these over 200 items, you are advised to use Ctrl + F shortcut or the search box in the top right corner. With their help, you should be able to find and use the feature or function you want fast.
