Section One: How to unlock Windows 7/Vista/XP password via password reset Wizard?

If you have another account with admin privileges or you have enable the built-in administrator account, you can easily unlock Windows 7 password with CMD. Here show you the steps to unlock Windows 7 password with CMD. Unlock Windows Vista, XP password is the same as this.

Step 1: Logon Windows 7 as administrator.
Step 2: Click Start, type cmd in the Run box or Search box and press Enter(You also can logon Safe Mode with Command Prompt).
Step 3: Type in net user, all user accounts will be displayed.
Step 4: Type "net user" "user name" "new password"(without quotes), press Enter. Then it will prompt you that the command completed succeddfully and you can restart your computer to login with new user's password.

We can not unlock Windows 7/Vista password via Safe Mode, but unlock Windows XP password in safe mode works perfectly. Now let's start! Press F8 as soon as you can when restart your computer, it will show you several options to login safe mode. Select safe mode and hit Enter.
